take your time

So, I am re-reading Blue Like Jazz, which is probably one of my highest recommended reads. I am sitting in Bare Bulb Coffee literally laughing out loud, frequently followed by moments of my eyes just swelling with tears at the truth revealed through real-life stories and the slight sarcasm that Donald Miller so eloquently employs.

But this quote caught me red-handed. This very quote mustered so much of my convictions felt in the past year. I pray it spurs you to action, to greatness, to effectiveness for the Kingdom of God.

Take your time... and do something with it.

"I believe that the greatest trick of the devil is not to get us into some sort of evil but rather have us wasting time. This is why the devil tries so hard to get Christians to be religious. If he can sink a man's mind into habit, he will prevent his heart from engaging God."
